Looking for parents of James M. Lary b. 1810 in Georgia or SC m. 21 Dec 1838 to Mary Ann Herringdine daughter of Silas Herringdine. They lived in Hancock Co. Ga. HELP!! Been looking for 20 years.

20 years huh well I have been looking a lot
longer that that so good luck. my Lary I am
looking for was Thomas Lary born 1820 and he is my husband's grandfather yes grandfather
Thomas had one son and his name was James E.
Lary and he married a second time when up in
years to a much younger woman and they had 4
children my husband being the oldest this took place in 1920. No body could tell kme any thing not even the two daughters of Thomas that I met they didn't even know when
their parents died or where they were buried but I have found that out. I don't know if they just didn't want to tell me or if they
really didn't know.

Bingo! We have been looking for these people for about 25 years and it seems as though the earth opened up and swallowed them or they enjoy driving us nuts trying to find them. We have the Lary and Herrindine with the same marriage date. Their daughter Elizabeth married Goodwin Johnson and their daughter married David Roberts. Have the info or some of it through to the present day and will be glad to share what we have which isn't much, but every little bit helps to get to the next stage.
