I know that the Ira Lane that I am familiar with is not the one that is your father but I can"t help but think there may be some connection as I have been unable to trace his history.
Ira Guy Lane was my grandfather. He originated out of Illinois as far as I know. He in fact is buried in Walkers
grove cemetery in Easto Il. His father was jordan
robert (Jerd) Lane. He was born on 25 March 1886. I do not know where. Ira, My grand father was born 19 Feb 1878. He married Mary Ellen Munsch. They moved to northern Minnesota sometime before 1912. I am trying to trace this family back but I,ve had no luck beyond this ggrandparent
