I am trying to locate information on Alvertine Sissel
who married a Granville Parker. They were referred to in my family as Ma and Pa Parker.
Her daughter Dora Parker (Richardson) is my grandmother. Born in Robbins Tennessee Jan. 4, 1892

Granville died in 1934 and Alvertine died in 1948.

Hi Mrs. Heaton..I am having the same problem you are..I can't find Alvertine anywhere either..the only info that I have on Granville is that his dads name is James Parker and his mother's name is Sarah. he was also married either before or after Alvertine, to a Mary Griffith. your grandmother has a brother or half-brother named Arlander (Orlando) Parker. He is my GGGrandfather and Granville my GGGGrandfather. Your Arlander Parker married my Great Aunt Mandy. My brother remembers going to his funeral in Milan and that he was buried in his Spanish American War Uniform. I have some information on Mandy's family, our common Smith's. Write me if you want.

Alvertine Sissel and Granville Parker would be my Great-Great Grandparents. Their son Alvin Parker would be my Father's Grandparents. My Father is Harlan Parker. He was a cousin to Fannings in Jeffersonville, Indiana. And Richardson's in Mercer County, IL. I am the daughter of Harlan & Frances Parker.
