Nelson C. LANE married Caroline Unknown. Children: Emma C - she married William P. CONREY. One of their children, Clara Emugene Conrey married Benjamin Milton FRANKLIN and one of their five children, Oma FRANKLIN, was my grandmother. That makes Nelson C. LANE my Gt Gt Gt Grandfather.

Other LANE names I found in pictures and notes are: Albert, killed in battle 4 Apr 1864. He may have had two brothers: John S and Edward L, or perhaps they were cousins.

Charley LANE, an older batchelor,married Marthery Johnson, a widow, 28, Sep 1902.

L. H. Lane m Emily J KENDRICK, then, Rebecca FLOWER, one of their children, Francis A. married S.D. CADY.

Emma C LANE had a sister Ida R. who married Elias Broadwell.

Jackson LANE was father to an Emily A. LANE who may have been a cousin to Emma C. Not sure of exact relationships yet.
