Looking for the parents of Stanislas Landry born 1843-1845 Chambly, Quebec he married Marie-Marcelline Tremblay born Dec 6, 1848 Chambly, Quebec on October 13, 1868 Kankakee, Illinois. All help appreciated.

Have you tried the 1880 US census or the 1881 Canada Census at familysearch.org, did he remain in the United States or come back to Canada after marriage? He may be located near his parents or siblings in the census, do you know names of any of his children, if he had any? If you know location he lived in United States, try variations of name spelling.

Thanks Diana, I have tried the census of both Canadian and American and nothing seems to fit. I'm not sure if Stanislas had any brothers or sisters to further check by.

I'm a Great -Great Grandaughter of Stanislas and Maeceline Landry through their son George, Try looking in the Kankakee, Illinois area. They also spent time down in St. Cloud County,Kansas as well

I was told that a Dermily Landry and Stanislas Landry were brothers. Dermily was born in 1856 and is buried at the Baghdad Cemetery in Leander, Texas. I am from Dermily's line of Texas Landrys. Hope this helps. Btw, I can't find Dermily's parents, either.
