My great grandfather was Peter Kujawa who immigrated from Poland and settled in or around the Duluth, MN area. My aunt has many records if this helps anyone.

Sherry, I just started to research my family history and my great grandfather, John Kujawa, had a brother named Peter. He had three other brothers - Tony, Joe and Mike. Could they be a relation to your great grandfather.

Just wanted to reply because we have the same name and you're the first Sherry Kujawa I heard of -- besides myself. I was born and raised in Milwaukee, now live in Massachusetts. Legal name is Sheryl, but my family always called me Sherry.

Peter Kujawa, (your Great Grandfather) lived in Floodwood Mn., and was the brother of my Grandmother Laura Marie (Kujawa) Agacki. Apparently my Grandmother did not like her real name which was Valeria. I believe their father was Machael Kujawa and their mother was Mary Malak, all from Szn Poland. If you have anymore information that will be helpful to me, ie., dates of Marriage, Births, Deaths, etc., I would appreciate it so I may continue the Family Tree.
