Is there any way that the spelling was changed to Narre? My GGrandfather's name was Joseph Narre.
I have him living in St. Louis beginning in the 1890's. There was only one family named Narre in St. Louis. He may have been born in Belleville, IL. His mother's name was Susan or Suzanne. I don't know what her maiden name was.
