My Grandfather was Homer Kitzmiller his father was James Otis Kitzmiller. There were Three Kitzmiller brothers who had emigrated together and more followed. They emigrated from Germany in the late 1700,s. I found them with documents on the www.footnote.com site. You will find Naturalization and census records in North Carolina will assist you in finding them. I have a David Kitzmiller right now that I am working on but he is older then your David.
