Info on gggrandfather, John S. KINMAN who married Judatha DODSON in the 1830's, near Eagle Creek, Indiana. They had at least three sons, who all died in Nodaway County, MO. Looking for John S. siblings or parents. Any help greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this will help you but my Grandmothers Mother name was Olive Kinman Born in 1850 in Illinois...death in 1935. Her fathers name was Anderson Kinman who was from Virginia. The family settled in Novelty, Mo. which is in Knox CO, Missouri. Your grandfather is on the other side of the state. Did you know that until 8-20-99 you can look up cenus records in Missouri from 1790 - 1870 for free. You might try it through www.ancestry.com. Good luck on your search. S schuster

According to the information I have, John Samuel Kinman was my GGGgrandfather. He was a native of England. He married Judatha Dodson Feb 16, 1834 near Eagle Creek Indiana. Their children were George Washington Kinman (my GGgrandfather), Ruel, Henry,(all buried near Nodaway County Missouri), and a sister.
Judatha aka Julia or Judah, was daughter of Rev. George and Martha Lockhart Dodson. Her siblings were Elizabeth,Thomas,Nancy,Margaret(Peggy),Irena,George,Martha L.(Patsy),Ruel,John,Mary,Robert,Judatha*,Jemima.
