In searching to put together a family history I found that my Great Grandmother was Bessie Katz from Russia (Married to Max Lober) I cant go any further back-her children were Jack (My grandpa) Arthur, Irving and Belle (all deceased) Since my grandpa was born in 1909 I have to assume Bessie was born late 1860's to early 1890's and I know nothing about Max Lober other than he was a farmer in Russia--If anyone out there has any info on Katz Family Russia this time period...Please let me know..Thanks

If we have the same "Bessie", she is or was my aunt. My aunt was one of 13 siblings -- Father's name: Maxwell. Mothers name: Ester. They lived on York St in Hartford. I think settled in Winsted, CT. If this is the same "Bessie", I have a family tree -- It doesn't reach back too far, though.
