Searching for Father FRANCISCO JAVIER JIMENEZ

I was born in Oct 1984, my mother's name is Patricia Orozco, she may have also used her father's last name Robles. They met in aunt's sewing shop in the early 80's in Whittier, CA or surrounding areas. I know I have an older sister, not sure of her name possibly Marbella. The only other info I have is he worked as a furniture mover during the 80's and he had brothers possible names of Juan and Jose. Maybe more than just two brothers. Please any information will be helpful.

Thank you,
Javier Jimenez

Ramiro Jimenez Soto

My name is Agapito Jimenez Pulido, originally from Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas but now residing in Texas. I am looking for information about my father or any of his relatives. My father's name is Ramiro Jimenez Soto from Ciudad Victoria and Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He should be in his mid-70's. I have a letter he wrote to my mother (Petra Pulido Ruedas) in Ciudad Madero, Mexico in 1980 where he states that he was working as a migrant worker in various U.S. states, including Florida, Michigan, Ohio, California, and even Canada. I have five full brothers and sisters, but I understand that my father had another older set of five children by a previous relationship to a woman with the last name of Garcia. If you can provide any information, please do so by responding to this post

My paternal grandfather was Elijio Jimenez. We have been told that he was born in the area of Jimenez, Chihuahua, Mex. We know he had two sisters, one became a schoolteacher. He never talked about his family, but took clothes and other things yearly to Mexico. He left home at about age 14. His second wife told me he changed his name from Eulojio to Elijio. Would this be a connection to your family? Thanks.

My mother was Mary Ann Samudio, my father was 27 at the time of my birth at least that is what is says on my birth certificate. If your father was born in 1949 that would make him 27 in 1976, my birth year. His birthday is not mentioned my birth certificate.

The only picture I had of us together was given and taken from me all within the same year, I was 5 then. But I looked at the picture enough to remember it. His hair was wavy, he was thin, and because I am only 5'0, and my mother is only 5'2, he was tall to us.

In the picture he was darker then my skin tone but that could be, because it was summer.

Occording to my birth cert., my father was born in Mexico not in the states, but it doesnt say where in Mexico, nor does it say where he live at the time of my birth.

I think I could be who you are looking for.

I have always wondered about my father and his children and always wondered why he did not attempt to find me.

Are you the oldest of his other childern or the youngest? How long have you been looking for me? How many children in total are there? How where you able to see me when I was a baby?

The picture you posted did not come through could you please try again?

I would feel the same way if someone was trying to reach me as well. For validation I have uploaded a picture of myself and my Dad (he doesn't look as young), but it will offer at least more clues. Here's how I can respond to your questions:

Did he have straight or curly hair? - He has wavy hair, but with his age now it has turned white and and the waves are fading.
What was his hair color? Black
What state was he born in? he was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, but resided in Chicago for many years with his family and lived on 19th street and blue island in his younger years.
About how old was he at the time of my birth? - His date of birth is January 17, 1949.
Was he tall or short? In my eyes he is short about 5'5 or 5'6
Was he thin or overwieght at the time of my birth? He has always been on the thin side
What color skin tone did he have? light
Hello Dana,

The information you provided is very close to the information I have about my father, but I would still like to be cautious. If you dont mind may I ask you a series of questions based on what little information I have about my father? I am going off the one and only picture I ever had of him along with the information printed on my birth cert.

Did he have straight or curly hair?
What was his hair color?
What state was he born in?
About how old was he at the time of my birth?
Was he tall or short?
Was he thin or overwieght at the time of my birth?
What color skin tone did he have?

I am sorry if this seem rude, but you just can never tell now a days. The correct answers to these questions will confirm if I am who you are searching for.

Hi Valerie, I am looking for my long sister born in Chicago. Her mother name I believe is Maria Zamudio and my father's name is Carlos Jimenez. The hospital where my sister was born might be St. Anthony's? or around 18th St. I am 42 years old and only seen my sister one time when she was months old and have prayed to find her. The first and last time I saw her she lived around 26th St. I have gathered as much information as I can and I hope this information is helpful in letting me know if you are my sister or not.

Hi,

I am currently helping my boyfriend and his family do some genealogy research and the name Jimenez has come up in his family line as well.

Elia Jimenez was his great grandmother. She was married to Clemente Medrano (b: 1903). Elia was born around 1909, but I am not sure if it was in Mexico or in Texas. I know that they were living in Texas when they started having children. I found a 1930 census record with their names on it. I know of three children: Efraien, Rebecca, and Lydia Medrano. The family moved to Tulare County California later on and their daugther Rebecca (my boyfriend's grandmother) is still living there with her husband.

Does any of this sound related to the Jimenez family you are looking for? I have had a really difficult time finding any information about Elia and/or her parents so maybe you can help.

Hi Laurie,
I appoligize for not contacting you back on your 2004 response to my original query. There were distractions from working on family geneology for awhile.
There is no information, in my data base, on Nicolas Nieves nor her husband, Jose Jimenez-Rios, but odds are he could be related to my great-grandmother Petronila, maybe even her brother.
If you have any additional information collected; let me know.
Thanks
Lucrecia

Hi Nilda,
I appoligize for not responding to your original 2004 reply to my message. There have been several interruptions and other things that occupied my time away from family geneology. Do you know that the book on the Delgado family, written by a doctor in Arecibo, PR, has been printed and, if I am right as to who you are, you're in it. My mother, Ana Maria Delgado-Delgado, was your grand-mother, Marina Casanas-Delgado's first cousin, therefore your mother, Nilda Rosa M.-C., is my 2nd cousin. You are my 2nd cousin once removed.
How can we get in contact so I can give you the informaation to acquire the book entitled: "Ramas y Raices de los Delgado y Abreu"?
Your cousin,
Lucrecia

Jimenez Family

I am looking for any info out there on the Jimenez line; I have very few names and dates so my search has been almomst impossible.

The name I do have is Elia Jimenez. She married Clemente Medrano. I believe Elia's parents were born in Mexico but I do not know if she was born in Mexico or in Texas. I know for sure Elia and Clemente's daughter Rebecca was born in Texas. I believe there was also a son named Efraien.

If anyone has any family info on this line of Jimenez the help would be greatly appreciated.
