Hello. My name is Desmond Chan. My mother's name is Noemi Jimenez. She was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico in 1947. Her father's name was either Enrique Jimenez or Enrique Jimenez-Cruz. Her mother's name is Gloria LaRiux, which is a French name. I don't know any of my great grandparents' names yet, though. However, from what I have gathered, my grandmother's parents were from Spain, and my grandfather's parents were either both from Spain, or one was from Spain, and the other was from Venezuela. I am not totally sure about my grandfather's parents. I am pretty sure about my grandmother's parents, though.
I have just started my search into my family history, and have started research on my mother's family first because that it what I have the most information on. I hope this info is of use to you. The only other info I have is names of relatives. My father is Francisco Lopez Gurrola. His father: Francisco Lopez Vera. His Mother: Bertha Gurrola Soto. Also: Francisca Soto and Estefana Vera. I am not exactly sure what side Jose is on, only that he is a GG Grandfather to me. If and when I find anything else I will let you know. If any of those names ring a bell, please let me know.
