Ok...I am not trying to stir the pot...but can someone tell me if they know anything about the Joseph Jean that married Sarah Jane Medearis, 12 Oct 1796 in Guilford Co., NC???

I have seen on more than one site/source that people have him dying in 1840 in Bracken Co., KY. Does anyone know where that came from? Does anyone have any children for him? Is there anyone researching him? I have a theory about him, but I need to know more about the Bracken Co., KY status.
