Your Alcy Littleton intrigues me. Do you know anything about that Littleton family? I am tracing the Isham Daniel family that lived in Chatham Co, NC c1790-1820. I'm not exactly sure when they moved to Chatham Co. Isham wife's name according to some researchers was Elvira Littleton. They also named a son Littleton Daniel. I have no proof of Isham's wife.

Littleton Daniel's brother Jesse Daniel was mentioned in a couple of deeds with a John Jean. Another name from this time frame was David and Deborah Chapman.

Littleton Daniel left Chatham Co, NC c1820 after the death of his father Isham. They went to Washington Co, GA then to Heard Co, GA where he died in 1835.

Sonia,
The info that I have was given to me by the wife of a man who is the great, great, grandson of Alcy Littleton Jean and John Jean. His great grandfather was Alcy and John's son James Monroe Jean.
All I have on Alcy Littleton (1790-1854) is that she was born in Georgia in 1790. She was married to John Jean (1784-1860), probably in 1805 in Georgia. She is listed on the Sept. 11, 1850 census with John Jean of Heard County, GA. She died Jan. 7, 1854 in Heard Co., GA and both she and her husband, John, are buried in Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Heard County, Georgia in unmarked graves.
John and Alcy Jean had sixteen known children. Their youngest child, William Lumpkin Jean (June 2, 1835 - Dec. 28, 1916) is my great great grandfather. William Lumpkin
( known as Lump Jean) was a brother to James Monroe Jean the line of Jeans that the husband of the lady that gave me this info is from. James Monroe left Georgia and moved to Jasper Co, TX and later to Leesville, Vernon Parish, LA area. William Lumpkin, his brothers Daniel B., Albritton H., Bartlett Barker, and Robert Mathis, and Darius Thomas Jean moved from Georgia and settled in Arkansas. William Lumpkin settled in Three Creeks, Union Co., AR. Darius later moved to Hill County, Texas. Another brother, John Hopson Jean moved from Georgia to DeSoto County, Mississippi. The rest of their siblings stayed in Georgia.
I don't know any more about Alcy Littleton or her ancestors. Sorry. There is that Heard Co, GA connection though. So, she may be some relation to your Littletons.
If you would like the name and address of my source for this info, e-mail me. I haven't communicated with her in several year, so I am not sure my contact info is still current.

Thank You, do you know a Louis Johnson? or maiden name Jean? I am trying to trace my lineage back to the civil war. This has helped a lot. I'm trying to get into the sons of confederation. I have to find a census or birth certificate, but I don't have a card for these databases which are out now.

I do know your grandmother. I have the Confederate Service/Pension record for Wm. P. Jeane and James M. Jeane. I'll be glad to make copies for you if that will help you. Please email me at papgan@aol.com.
