I am searching for the birthplace in Switzerland for Jacob Hirt, born 2 July 1830, what were his parents names, and I need the birthplace in Switzerland for his wife, Barbara Haller who was born 24 Jan 1840. Jacob immigrated to the US in 1856 and Barbara immigrated to the US in 1868 with children: Jacob Jr. age 15 born 1852, Christian age 5 born 1863 and Barbara age 2 born 1866. I believe that Barbara the wife was not the mother of Jacob Jr. as she would have been only age 12 at the time of Jr's birth.
