I am trying to find more information on this family:
Charles (Karl) HIRT born 23 Mar 1829 in Prussia (1880 census actually says Bavaria?), Married Maria Anna KUHLMANN in 1850 in either Auglaize or Miami County, Ohio, died 16 Mar 1910 in Ohio.

They had 6 children: Charles Jr., Jacob, Katherine, August, Aloysius and Henry.

A note made by arelative says that both he and his wife came from Kirchenbolenbach, Trier, Prussia, But I am unsure of this.

Anyone with more information on this family, I would love to hear from you.

Thanks!

Hello Margie,

I'm sorry, but knowing nothing about her besides her name, I cannot say. I have never seen come across the name Schlageter before in my research. That doesn't mean they're not related, just that I haven't explored the branches forward besides the branch I am on.

Thanks for your post and good luck!

Hello,

I also have relatives with the same notes Kirch...Prussia information and the same Hirt lineage. I know you posted this about 5 years ago, however, just thought I would drop you a line. Charles K Hirt would be my great, great, great grandfather. His son, Jacob had Earnest, who had Robert, who had my mother Ann.

Get back to me if you would like!

Hi, sorry, I didn't catch your name...

I know your Grandfather, Robert...I've visited him a few times and most of my information came from him. His brother, Charles, was my grandfather. I don't think I've found any further information at this point, but was there something in particular that you were looking for?

Sincerely,

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

Sorry about that...my name is Natalie. I'm just starting out on the ancestry compilation of our family. I only know bits and pieces from what Grandpa Bob (Robert) has told me. I just came across your post about Charles K and responded, didn't realize you're connection. I'm not looking for anything particular right now, but thank you. I'm still figuring out how the website functions, etc. Is it possible to view other trees on here or do I have to have a paid subscription to do that? Well, anyways, happy hunting and maybe I'll get back to you at some point with questions!
