My HINDS are not from Jamaica. Joseph HINDS was in New Jersey as early as 1732. Sorry we can't make a connection

My family is from Jamaica...my grandfather did tell me that any Hinds no matter the spelling are related to us. I am not quite sure of the origin of the Hinds family. But I know we did have a family house in Clarkstown, Trelawny. If you would like to know more please email me....

My mother is from Jamaica and her madien name is hinds. I am not to familiar with any other hinds besides her siblings and my grandfather.

My mother was a Hind(s)from Salisbury District, St. Ann, Jamaica. Her parents were Laura and William Hinds. She had 8 siblings.

My Hinds are from St. Ann but I was told that the family orginally came from Trelawny. My grandfather came to St. Ann from Falmouth, he had 3 other brothers, I am not sure how many sisters but to date there are still family members residing in Trelawny.

My father is Karl Hinds from St. Ann Jamaica. I know he has quite a few siblings but I don't know them all. The only ones I know is a brother Sidney and a sister Jean (precious). I met another brother living in England when I was a child bit I don't remember his name. I've always been curious about this my father's side of the family.
