Hello Derek,
I have been to the website set-up by Don Hauser and have been in email contact with him. There is a possibilty that my Heuser(original spelling Häuser) ancestors immigrated in 1853. I found some Häusers that match mine on the HADIS website.
If you email me at my email address I can send you what I have so far.
My ancestor is Jacob Häuser b. around 1800 Oes or Hausen, Wetteraukreis (son of Johann Georg Häuser and ????? Haub)He left with his family to immigrate to Toronto, Canada eventually moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
My Sommerlad ancestors were from Langenhain, Wetteraukreis.
Daniel
