People researching this name who suspect their ancestors may have immigrated to Pennsylvania in the 1700s from Swiss, German, Dutch or French origins, I'll be glad to do a lookup for you in the rare book, "Thirty Thousand Names of Immigrants". Email requests to me since I won't be checking the boards for inquiries.

This book is very time-saving and informative! Hope I can help!

You are wonderfully kind to offer to do this. I have several I would like to look up. But your email does not show in your posting. Could you please post it or send it to me?

What do you have on Philip Heck, b. 1763, d. 1826 Westmoreland Co., married to Elizabeth Brice (per family history). I am searching for his family and date of marriage. Since I cannot find he lived anywhere but Pa. in Berks Co and Westmoreland Co. there should be a record. Can you help me?

The book I am offering to do lookups in contains only those who immigrated to the US from 1727-1776. If you find names dating back to this period, please contact me again to see if I can help. Sorry!

I'm trying to find info on Nicholas Heck, His son Henry Heck and on Jacob Heck, Nicholas Heck's brother. Jacob came over in 1846 or 1847. They came from Germany.
I hope you can help.

Thank you,

I believe that our Nicholas Heck are 2 different people. My Nicholas is the father of Raymond Leslie Heck. He was born in Ohio and his wife was Freda Tackenburg. It was Nicholas' Father Huber that came over from Germany with several children.
Sorry if this is not the information you are looking for I know how disappointing this can be when you think you have found some information on a surname you are searching. If O can be of any further help please let me know.
Nancy
