I don't think we have a match. Mine was from Indiana, his wife was named Pricey Heck and he died around 1907. His name was also spelled Justice in the records I have.

There were books written by Arch Oliver Heck and published in 1970. I am using my sister's books. I know that Earl Leon Heck wrote a book and I know that AJ Heck has done years of research on the Heck family. I have never met either of these men but I have seen their names and know they have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the Hecks. I plan on contacting them at some point but I haven't had time to do it. They may be able to tell you how to get the books. Marilyn

I have just started my search but I do know that my mother Stella Heck Arthur from Clinton TN was born to Marion and Lavada Heck. I just visited a few of Marion's people who live in Rogersville, TN now. We went to Heck Holler out by the "Old home stead" place and burried my grandmother(Marions widow). There was Aunt Angeline, Julie and Marie. I think Julie and Marie is Marions sisters and Angeline I am not sure is she is a sister or daughter to the others. I am going back in a few weeks....I will see what information I can get for the searches.

I have come across these brothers in the Lancaster Co Pa early records. I have not kept copies of these records as they did not connect to my line.I did ,however, keep some crypt notes as I like to call them. Look in Early Pa German Marriages.Jacob pg#275 Peter on pg#533.

Looking for father of Preston Love Heck. Preston was born in 1892 and died in Roanoke, Va. He was my husband's grandfather. His son was my husbands biological father- Frederick Preston Heck- 1909-1958. Any information appreciated.

He was born about 1839 and died in Libby
Prison at Richmnd Va in 1864. He married
Louisa Cunningham in Rithchie Co VA Oct 9,
1860. she was a daughter of Jacob Cunningham
and was born about 1842 and died about 1916.
Justus was in the Union Army of the Civil War.
