We think the Heck's had settled in the arrea of Natural Bridge, VA. I'm not sure of my great grandfather's birth place. His name was Henry Heck of Rogersville, TN. He lived very close to Melinda's Ferry in Hawkins county. My grandfather's name was Hiram Heck and his wife was Nell Heck. My father was James Heck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There were in fact Hecks who settled in and around Natural Bridge, VA. I have extensive information on these Hecks. There were 11 volumes published about these Hecks in 1970. Looking for information on Justus C. Heck who married Louisa Cunningham in Ritchie o., WV. According to family stories he was killed in the Civil War. My husband descends from his daugther Hester. Any help appreciated!
