Don't know if you ever received a reply. You are indirectly related to our family but through another branch. My records show William Hartsock (1825-1892) was married to 1)Amanda Grey Biggs, and 2) a Catherine Heaton (1833-1868). With Catherine he had a son, Samuel Lincoln Hartsock. Katherine Halverson, Samuel's daughter did research on all the Hartsock families in Iowa. In one of her letters she says she was 83 in May 1972. I haven't seen any correspondence since 1978. I have heard since that she did die and is probably buried in Cedar Rapids where she had lived. It appears that they descended from Henry Sr., through Henry Jr. Both of whom were born in Wash.
