Dale E. Harms, 66 of West Bend died Saturday, July 18 at his home in West Bend.
Services will be held Wednesday, 10:30 AM at Peace Lutheran Church, West Bend with burial to follow in the West Bend Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-7 PM Tuesday at the church in West Bend. Harris Funeral Home of West Bend is in charge of arrangements.
Dale Eugene Harms, the son of Julius and Esther (Habeger) Harms was born April 22, 1943 in West Bend. He was raised and received his education in West Bend, graduating from the West Bend High School in 1961. On November 20, 1965 he was united in marriage with Linda Calder at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Callender. The couple has lived and farmed in West Bend during their married lives.
Dale is survived by his wife Linda of West Bend, IA, mother Esther Harms, West Bend, IA, children: Chad (Joyce Ferstl) Harms of Britt, IA, Brian Harms of West Bend, IA, and Shannon (Jeff) Morrow of Johnston, IA, mother in law, Lois Witcombe of West Bend, IA, 7 grandchildren, and his two sisters Julie Schultz of West Bend, IA, and Michele Harms of West Des Moines, IA.
Dale was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church of West Bend. He was preceded in death by his father Julius.
