I'm searching for any information on my Great-Uncle Frank Harms in Crete, Ne. Uncle Frank was born in Peoria, Livingston, ILL. He moved with his parents,(Onno Harms and Heneretta Malstad),brothers, and sisters to Ne. He met my Great-Aunt Josephine Robinson and were married in Seward, Ne. Both Frank and Josie are buried in Riverside Cemetery in Crete.

I have a little information on Henry Harms. He married my ancestor in 1859 in Tazewell County, Illinois across the river from Peoria. A son, also named Henry Harms was in Peoria in 1890-92. A short bio on Henry (the senior one) says the family was from France.. there may be a little more info if you think they may be related.

Did you have a kathe ? or any relatives with a last name of Broer ? Sorry don't have much to go on.they were from or lived in Nebraska/Iowa area

Sorry haven't answered your letter. Too many things going on with the family. We had four deaths in the family since you sent out your letter. Trying to help the father with his health and etc. I've gotten back searching for family and among other things.
I don't know if there is any connection to the family of Broers. I hit a dead end with the great-uncle's parents. Great-Uncle Frank Harms had a sister named Anna Harms. He other brothers and sister. I need to make contact with a society in Peoria, Illinois to see what I find there.
