William Hard born 1815 - England and his wife Sarah (maiden name unknown) born 1823 also in England. I think William moved from England in 1836 to Ontario Canada. Had 4 sons Fred, John, William (Born Feb 18, 1856 Uxbridge Ontario) and George. Also had 4 daughters. The three eldest sons moved to Manitoba Canada in late 1800's. Any info known would be greatly appreciated!

Our tree goes back to the 1600's and I don't know any info on branches that came over after that. I'm sure there are lots. Good luck!

I have ust discovered a George Hard with wife Sarah and three children in the 1901 Annapolis, Nova Scotia census. The children are Charle, Varley and Hallie. I think that the Charlie is the grandfather I have been looking months for. He show up again in Ohio Franklin County 1910 Miracode census and the ages all match. Do you have any information on this family? Thank you

I am particularly interested in Hards in London in the 1600's. Do you have any information about Hards during the plague
probably 1655 to 1665?
Thanks,

Patty

The last name in its original form is: Hardres. It is a parish south east of Canterbury. When William Hard came to america the name was shortened to Hard.
