You are inquiring about my grandfather Clements Edward Goulet. He married Agnes Mary Jochum on June 16, 1915, was born in Glenco, MN on March 16, 1881 and died January 8, 1963. His brothers were Julian, Alfred, and Henry L. his sisters were Della, Louise, Selina and Emma (Mamie). They had five children, my father, Stephen Clement, Lucille Agnes, Ambros Francis, Thomas Anthony, and Janet Mary. I feel sure I must know you or have met you at some time. Who are your parents??? I did not know our great-grandfather was a pony express rider or part Indian. I would like more information about him. His name was Louis and he married Adaline. Lucille, Janet and Thomas are still alive. My father died two years ago. Please respond and let me know who you are related to. I have a lot more information I would be happy to share with you.

I believe I am related to you. My gr.gr.gr grandmother was Armeline Goulet, she was born in Canada, her mother was Marie Robichaud, and father was Louis Goulet. The family moved to Minnesota when she was a girl around age 10, her mother was a widow age 59 in the 1860 census they were living in Mcleod Coo, Mn. Her siblings were Odille, Mathilda, Marie Louise, Louis, Eloise, Jules, Marie Carille, Marie Selina, Marcel, Marie Delima, and Hermeline. Now Armeline was the name written on her tombstone but I'm not sure if that was her real name or not because her name does not appear like that on the 1860 census, but a Parmilia does who would have been the same age as her. If you could help me straighten this out that would be great!

1848 at Saint-Ambroise-de-Kildare Qc.

Thankyou for that piece of information, Since I have been researching Armaline, I have found 3 different ways that her name was spelled, and we finally figured that Armeline must be correct because that was the name written on her tombstone, and now we have another name! This should be of good use:) I look forward top sharing information with you on the Goulet family!

I think that one of Louis Goulet and Marie Robichaud's daughters may have ended up in Dodge County. Lemon Tarble was married to a "Celester" from Canada in the 1870 census, (he was a widower in the 1880 census). I have not been able to locate him in the 1860 census yet, but think that "Celester" was his second wife.
