Antonia M. (Goulette)
Bernier, 82, of Nashua, passed away on Friday May 29, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital surrounded by her family, her greatest love.
Antonia was born in
Rumford, ME on March 7, 1927 a daughter of the late George & Mary Louise (
Choinard)
Goulette. She was the widow of Alfred
Bernier who died November 26, 1971. Antonia had been a Nashua resident for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by Kollsman. Antonia enjoyed knitting, crocheting, dancing and singing. She was a communicant of Blessed John XXIII at Infant Jesus Church where she served as a Eucharistic
Minister.
Antonia is survived by four sons, George
Bernier and his wife, Mary, of Barry, VT, Dennis
Bernier, David
Bernier and Ronald
Bernier, all of Nashua; five daughters, Jean
Cummings and her husband, Mike, of Plano, TX, Diane
Couturier and her husband Guy; Julie Boilard, Carmel
Boucher and her husband, Richard, all of Nashua and June
Williamson and her husband, Kenneth, of Milford; twenty-six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; one brother,
Lucien Goulette and his wife, Kathy, of Malta, MT; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Monday, June 1, 2009 from 3 to 7 PM in the ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21
Kinsley St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday June 2, 2009 in Blessed John the XXIII at Infant Jesus Church, 121 Allds St., Nashua at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 10
