Gombert, I am researching the surname
Gombert. I started out by helping my father reseach his family. After he passed away I inherited the whole shebang.
At one point I started mailing letters to anyone with the surname. I received several responses, but none that looked like they were my family. Fortunately I did save the information.
After several years I had expanded my knowledge of the family and had found out that several of the letters I had received earlier WERE from distand cousins.
This was several years ago. Since that revelation I have been collecting information on all the
Gombert. Currently I have about 40 different families. These range from one or two people to thousands of people. I have even connected several different researchers together.
Please, post any
Gombert information that you might have. I will compare it with mine.
I will be alerting all the other
Gombert researchers that this has been set up and hopefully more connections will be made.
