Hello fellow Gombert researcher. My name is Richard Gombert. I started researching my family with my father 15 years ago.
Since that time I have expanded to include the whole surname as my research. Currently I have 40 different lineages ranging from 1 to over 1000 individuals.
Some of these I have been able to combine together into larger lineages (and introduce family members to each other).
I also edit a small family newsletter to keep family members and researchers up to date as to the status and results of various research.

Parents FRANK GOMBERT CAROLINE ?????? had 1 son (Ed) 3 daughters (Mabel, Sadie Flossie). Lived in Pennsylvania

Mabel Gombert lived in Jamestown, PA. and may have been born there. Her daughter, Sadie lives in Jim Thorpe, PA. Sadie's father was killed in a hunting accident when Sadie was about 3 months old. Mabel married Charles Strohl Sr when Sadie was about 6 months old. When Mabel Charles died Sadie was adopted and raised by her uncle Edwin Gombert. Look at line 10 Philip Gombert and 37 Peter. I suspect that these two families might connect, but I have not found the connection yet.
