I am looking for information on
Levi P
Geer, born in 1794 in Mass. married Jane
McCray in Farifield SC (1826), then migrated down to
Georgia, Owned a plantation in
Georgia, sold it about 1850, and migrated to
Harrison County (Marshall area)
Texas. His wife was Elizabeth
Pullig, children were:
Rosamond F. "Vallie"
Geer b.1830 SC, Horatio Nelson
Geer b. 1832 SC,
Snowdon Geer b.1833 SC, George L
Geer b. 1835
Troup Georgia, and Victoria A
Geer b.1839
Troup Georgia. I do not know if any other of the brothers and sisters moved to
Texas with
Levi and Elizabeth, or if they stayed in
Georgia. I know that one son, Horatio Nelson
Geer was in
Texas, and married Mary
Bowdry Freeman of
Jefferson Texas in 1851. I can find no records of
Levi and Elizabeth, and no records of Horatio till 1880 - Have not been able to find any of the brothers and sisters... If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated. Thanks, Alice
