Hi, I don't know if I can be of any help you sem to know more than me. I have an ancestor Mary Forbes born 3.12.1832 at Dunnotar, Scotland. Her father was Adam Forbes. She married Donald Morrison in 1831 atBanchory Devenick, Aberdeen. As foar as I know Donald was a shepherd and so moved about.. I bleive Adam Forbes married May Rhae at Aberdeen. I don't have Adam Forbes in my tree. I see that Adam married May or Mary Rae or Rhae in Fetterresso and the proclamation was in Dunnottar so they probably lived in Stonehaven or thereabouts.

Married a James Godsman. They had 8 Children.

George Donald Forbes & Elspet Murray had 9 children.
- Arthur 1825, WIlliam 1827, Isabel 1831, Ann 1834, Louisa 1835, John 1837, Elspit 1839, George 1840, ELizabeth 1842.
