I am searching for information on the Forbes line. I have a Nancy Marie Forbes who married John Breeden. She was born in Sugar Grove, PA. on Feb 15, 1833. Her father was William Forbes and her mother Mahetable Knapp. She married in Crawford Cty, IN. and died in Odon, IN.

Peggy: My gg grandfather was William Forbes b Nov 20 1798 In Delaware Co. N.Y. married to Mahetible Kendall. His parents and siblings relocated to Bradford Co. PA.in 1806. I found 6 children, Montraville b N.Y.in 1826; LaFayette b Abt 1829 in N.Y.; Mortamer b Abt 1836 in PA; (m Mary H Morgan, Apr 1868 in Crawford Co. IND.) Harriet b Abt 1839, Emaretta b Abt 1843, and Mary Jane b Abt 1849 in Crawford Co. IND. I didn't find Nancy Marie, Some things fit some don't. He could have had other children that I don't know about. Knapp and Kendall ?

Nancy was born supposedly in Sugar Grove, Warren Co., Pennsylvania. I haven't figured how or when they went from Pa. to In. Nancy's mother supposedly was Mahatable Knapp.
I don't have any siblings at this time.

First I want to apologize for dismissing you abruptly. I can't say I was too young to know better because I was raised better than that. Some of the information doesn't quite fit but it does give me an avenue to explore. One of John and Nancy's sons middle name was Mortimer and one of their daughters name was Emma. A perfect fit, no.
