Andrew Marion Fix was my Grandfather. The Family in moving to California from Henrietta Texas,separated near Gila Bend Arizona in 1883/84. Died January 6,1883 in Henrietta, Texas. I was told that he was the first person buried in the Henerrita cemetry.

What a shock it was to get into the Fix Message Board and discover the information you posted on William Marion Fix. I believe he was my Great Grandfather.His wife who was kin to me was Catherine. Their daughter Mary Ann Fix married John Stucker while they lived in Indiana. The John Stuckers visited in Tx in Clay Co. and 2 of their daughters married Mina-Thomas Jefferson Gilstrap and Alta Belle married Lewis H.Logan.Thank you so much for this information.

I do have a William Fix and Catherine(Monroe or Katherine Foster?)William was born c 1798-1883)Katherine Foster was born1818-1888.Another source has him marrying Catherine Monroe on22 Sept 1836.This William was the son of Jacob Fix and Barbara Swink.
William married 3 times.#1 wife was Sally Consley,#3 was Mary Turner

I heard that William Marion Fix was married several times, he came from Richmond Virgina/South County to Macon MO. where Andrew Marion Fix was born, he being my Grandfather. They moved to Henrietta Texas, where William Marion Was buried. Catherine H. Foster Fix had a brother by the name of John Foster who lost an arm in the Civil War.
My Mother at one time had contact with the Foster Family located in Ajo Arizona.
