I'm pretty new to finding out more of our family history. I have the priviledge of being from two Fix families. Yes my mom was a Fix and married a Fix, (no relation, please) Everybody asks that. I have a picture of the Fix Coat of Arms, and know that it's officially documented in Burke's General Armory. The crest is black and gold and silver. It's beautiful but I have often wondered, is it the family crest of all Fixes or is it different for my Mom's family than for my Dad's. I wish I knew. If anybody has an answer to my question, please let me know.

Hi Carolyn,

Its great to hear that a "Fix" Coat-of-Arms does exist. I would be interested in seeing it if you would like to share.
My Fix family starts at 1855 to present, would you like to share your family names and dates? I will check to see if they are in my database.
I would like to help you if I can. You may e-mail me @
