I'm looking for information on both a Benjamin Fish and (I believe) his son, Clinton Fish. From what little information I have been able to find, Benjamin was born in Dutchess Co., N.Y. in 1777-1778 and married Chloe (she was born in 1786-1787 in VT.). They probably had Clinton Fish, born in Cortland Co. 1810-1811. In 1855, Clinton resided in Cincinnatus, N.Y. with his wife Sally and six children, one of which was Ephriam Fish, born in 1843-1844. Clinton may have been previously married to another woman, Mary, who is shown to be Ephriam's mother on his death record.
Benjamin Fish's father may have been John Fish of Norwich, N.Y.
It also seems that Clinton Benjamin could have also moved back forth between Cortland Co. (Cincinnatus) and Chenango Co. (German, Norwich, etc.)
