My father was Kendall Gene Fassett and his father was Hayden Fassett. I don't know of any more information than that except that they lived in Vermont. thanks

My great grandfather was Hayden Fassett from the central Vermont area(I think!) My paternal grandfather was Kenneth Volney Fassett(died July 1, 2000) and my dad was Chester Kendall Fassett (April 10,1942 to April 26, 2005). My grandmother was Mildred Fassett(died 2007). I have 1 Aunt Jean Fassett (Baleau)in Deland, Florida and 3 uncles in 3 other states.

I am researching a male Fassett that worked in Claremont, NHin the 1950's. His name may have been Elgin or Eldon. Claremont is near the Vt border. Have you ever heard this name?

Volney Fassett Sr.

Hayden was Grampas' brother...and he lived in Hardwick VT

to my knowledge Hayden and his family were from Hardwick VT

As fas as I can remember Eldon was my great uncle. He passed away in the late 1960's or early 1970's from diabetes related illness. This is what I have been told as I would have been too young to remember him personally.

Some more information that I can remember about Hayden Fassett....his wife was Eleanor(her maiden name was Friot I believe). They had many children and I am sure they were all raised in Hardwick Vermont. I hope this helps you Denee. He was my grandfather's brother.

So their parents were Volney (sr.) and Edna(LaPorte) Fassett.

I don't believe he was every married, and I don't know where he died. I will see if I can find any more information from my mother. I will reply to this thread if I find anything.
