The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Staff Sgt. Bradley Espinoza, 26, of Mission, Texas, died Oct. 19 in Qwest, Iraq, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his vehicle with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.

I must make some corrections in the first notice. I have found out Jose Concepcion Espinoza had 2 brothers, not sisters. On the U. S. census for 1920, he states he is supporting his father, mother and 2 brothers. He was in Illinois at that time living in a boarding house and working for the railroad in Peoria. He lists his parents as Pedro Espinoza and Paulina Perez on his naturalization papers.My e-mail has also changed to snowden5@pldi.net

He Died -27 Aug 1957 in Well Co. Illinois
He was a teen ager when he came to the USA to get away from the war in Mexico. He married Eara Hill and they had 5 children - one was my mother - Mary.

I have a Great Great Grandmother Cleofes Espinoza. I don't have her birth date or death place, but I know she lived in New Mexico--probably near Wagonmound in Mora County. She was married to Precilliano (sp?) Lopez, who was born in 1863 and they had a son (probably one of many children) who was named Alfredo J. Lopez, born or baptized 1/13/1895. Do you (or anyone) have any info that could connect these two as the same Cleofes Espinoza?

Carlos B. Espinoza, 82, of Hesperia, died Nov. 16, 2007. He was born Dec. 22, 1924, in San Bernardino. Carlos was stricken with a severe case of Alzheimer’s disease two years ago that caused him to lose his essence and charm that he was famous for. Carlos was a worldly person that knew how to have fun, but was always aware of those around him that were in need and was always the first to lend a helping hand. “Bolas” turned his faith over to God’s hands just before Alzheimer’s took its deadly grip on him. We have faith and pray his name is written in the “Book of Life.”
Carlos was preceded in death by his daughter, Jamille Doddy, in 2004. He is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine Nader Espinoza; son James Espinoza and his wife, Jamie, of Spring Valley Lake; grandchildren, Michael Doddy and his wife, Michelle, and son Tobbey, of Spring Valley Lake; Jerry Doddy and his wife, Nena, and daughter Justice Jamille, of Chandler, Ariz.; Camille Doddy and her two daughters, Courtney and Chyna, of Hesperia; Capt. She is preceded in death by her twin sons, Peter & Paul Espinoza, father, Albert Padilla, sisters and brothers, Mary Alice Padilla, Stella Ridaman, Dorothy, Ladencio and Henry Padilla. She is survived by her husband, Billy Espinoza, children, William Espinoza (Beverly), Margaret Espinoza (Eltin), Lorenzo Espinoza, six grandchildren, nephews she raised, Leroy Padilla (Sharon) and Michael Padilla (Trish), brother, Alex Padilla and sister, Mary Ann Padilla, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at Redeemer Community Church, 3241 Lowell Blvd. Denver, CO on Monday, April 9, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial Reception/fellowship will be held at the VFW 2680 (old) West Hampden Ave.

Hi! I am basically looking for siblings and parents names for Florencio Espinosa/Espinoza. I dont know WHEN he was born but i do know WHERE he was born. Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. His wife was Rufina Almodovar Espinosa/Espinoza. I apolagize if i am confused on the last name. My father told me that before we moved to the US the name was Espinoza not Espinosa. His family had it changed to Espinosa. Forgive me but i was never good at using these forums and always got to personal with information. Sorry. I cannot find ANY census information for Florencio and Rufina. Now there child Ismael was born in 1922. Hope that helps for dates. I just cant find anything on this family and i dont speak spanish. 1951-2006

Robert Espinoza, 54, of Cheyenne died Sunday at home. He was born Nov. 13, 1951
in Cheyenne and had lived here all of his life.

Mr. Espinoza was a self employed upholster and owner of Master Crafters. He was a
member of St. Jopseph's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife Jeanne Espinoza of Ft. Collins, Colorado whom he married
June 26, 1977 in Cheyenne; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lonny and Tearaney
Espinoza of Milliken, Colo., and Leon Espinoza of Cincinnati, Ohio; his mother, Mary
Portz; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leroy and Jeanette Espinoza and Max and
Bernadette Espinoza; one sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Robert Fida; all of
Cheyenne and one grandson, Nathan Espinoza of Milliken.

Mr. Espinoza was preceded in death by his father, Guillermo "Phil" Espinoza and his
step-father, George Portz.

Honorary pallbearers will be Leo Maestas, Geoff Regansburg, Steve Harvey, and Steve
Spurlin.

Services are pending at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.

Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.

This is a paid obituary.
