This is a long shot, but I am wondering if anyone has encountered a Stephen Drake in the course of his/her research. My 4th great-grandmother, Susanna Drake (once referred to as Nina) married Philip Shaffer in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania in 1810. Susanna was the daughter of Stephen Drake. I've come across several Stephen Drakes on the internet in Pennsylvania, but none with daughter Susanna/Nina. Susanna Drake had the following children: Rev. Stephen Drake Shaffer, William Henry Harrison Shaffer, Laura Ann Shaffer, Elmina Jane Shaffer, Mahala Shaffer, John Calvin Shaffer, Leatha Louisa Shaffer, Eurania Ellen Shaffer, and Simon Shaffer. If anyone has any information or leads on this family, the help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
