I have in my possession, a book that was once owned by a man named Benjamin F. Drake of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, dated Feb. 1891.

In this book there is a list of Marriages, Births and a couple of deaths of a Drake family. The births start with Benjamin F. Drake born April 16th, 1854.

If anyone is connected to this family, I will glady give you the information listed.

Hello. S. Donnelly I read your posting and I am interested in the Drake family. My Grandmother was a Drake and I am having a hard time getting info on her. She was from Pa. but that is all I know . The family called her Minnie but I think this was a second name or nickname. I would appreciate you forwarding your info, just maybe your Drake could have been a family member. Thanks sarge620@msn.com

I have a Minnie Drake in my family line who I have been unable to locate after the 1880 census. She was born in West Virginia about 1878. Her first name may have actually been Mary. Her family moved to Pittsburg, Allegheny Co., PA around 1883-84. Her parent's were Seth W. and Mary A. (Brown) Drake. Grandparents were Francis P. and Mary Ann (Carpenter) Drake both born New York. Does this Minnie Drake fit into your time frame?

Hi,
My family has alot of Benjamin F. Drakes in it. My 1st Great Grandmothers brother was Benjamin Franklin Bole. His 2nd g-grandmother was Catherine Drake m. Jessie Heizer. I just started researching this side of my family and am very interested in the information that you may have. It may tie in at a later date if not now. In your book do you have any info on a Catherine Drake b 1808 sometimes listed as b 1810 because that is how her tombstone reads. I have also heard that our Drakes came through PA at one point. I would also love a copy of the birth, death, marriage certificates if you have. Thanks

Please email this information to bstegena@comcast.net
