I could not find out how to post so I saw NJ in your post. I am searching for AHH. Whitfield born about 1825 in N.J. somewhere. He came to N.C and was on the N.C. census in 1850. He is my great, great, great grandfather. I don't know what his initials stand for either. He married Rachel Arey in Fayetteville, N.C, Cumberland County. Her father, Joseph Arey was born around 1895-1900 in N.J. as well. He married Salina Stairt in Fayetteville as well. I am stuck with all three surnames, Whitfield, Arey, and Stairt. Any help out there. A.H,'s daughter, Ellen Day Whitfield married John Aurelius Lambeth in Fayetteville. I have the Lambeth line going. Can anyone help me? Thanks
