I have a Josephine Denis b 1823 in Canada, died in Mooers Forks, NY. She was married to my g-g grandfather Peter Vivia Brickey (still trying to figure out my original name). It may be Denis dit Lapierre, but I am looking further into this.

I also have an O'Brien Denis and a Blance Denis in my file.

My great-great-great grandmother was Marie DERUIN. She was married to George Whitfield AMES. They lived in Dubuque IA when their daughter Susan Jane AMES was born. They died in Dewitt,Clinton IA

My greatgrand father was a general in the Spanish American war. Is there anyone with this great man in their family tree. He came from Cuba and setteled in Pass Christian, Mississippi

I am researching my Danis family line. The Danis family originated from France, came to French Canada in the 1600's (and more may have come later). The name within my family tree of over 500 descendants is corrupted from time to time. Here are the following versions I have found: D'Anis, Dany, Dennis, Denis. Try your search with all these names. I have quite a few Josephine Danis from Canada in my family tree. Do you have more information beyond the husband's name you printed?

Hi Larry, my ggreatgrand father was a Piche, his name was Gideon Piche, there daughters name was (Oliven) in the usa. but in Canada (Quebec) it was Divine. She and Euclide Lesperance married there, in St. Jerome, Canada. Then came over to the states, Wisconson that is. I have more inf. But I really am doing the Lesperance side now.
