I am trying to locate information on the children of Jesse Margaret Crowder. Margaret Crowder was born in Scott City, KS in 1916 to Gladys and Virgil Crowder. I believe she died in 1994 and is buried in Tucolay Cemetary, Napa Co, CA Her first marriage was to Philip M. Emmert, Jr. (1908-1965) in Scott City, KS. I believe they had one daughter. I was told that Elizabeth Crowder married Henry Griggs in 1824 in hancock County, Ga. Offspring was my GGGGrandfather John F Griggs. Elizabeth died in 1825. Any comments on that?

MUSCATINE, Iowa -- David Charles Crowder, 36, 521 Main St., died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at his home.

Visitation is at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date at Heritage Hills Cemetery, Tuscaloosa, Ala. Memorials may be made to the Muscatine Dialysis Unit operated by the University of Iowa.

Mr. Crowder was born on Aug. 26, 1966, in Pekin, Ill., the son of Walter L. and Margaret Barger Crowder.

Survivors include a sister, Patricia Horchem and her husband, Robert, of Fruitland; and a brother, Walter L. Crowder Jr. and his wife, Wendi, of Fruitland.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Moore.

They lived in Salina in 1944. They lived at 505 N. 3rd. My mother was abandoned when she was about 9 months old so I think she Juanita was in Washington in 1946.

Looking for John Crowder or info that he may have had concerning the adoption of a baby boy in 1954 when he was married to Toni Williams. They adopted Baby Boy O'Deux (could be a different spelling) and divorced when he was about 5. They named the boy Jamie Darrell Crowder.

I'm so sorry. My first post was incorrect. It was Godfrey's son Robert who was married to Phoebe Moody. I do have Godfrey's will and he does mention the children of Robert and his first wife. Godfrey was m first to Nancy Moore. His son Robert A. Crowder was m. 1st to Phoebe Moody and 2nd to Eleanor Jane Robertson in Caswell Co, NC.

I need information about Godfrey CROWDER of Mecklenburg, VA. I don't have any dates for him except that he married Susannah (VAUGHAN) SHELTON 23FEB1802. Susannah had been married 1st to David SHELTON, the first sheriff of Caswell County, NC. When David died she married Godfrey CROWDER and moved her minor children with the couple back to Mecklenburg Co., VA. I would love to have some dates on this couple. I would also like to know of any children of Godfrey CROWDER's first marriages. And ancestors of Godfrey, as well.

My Crowder Line is my husband's Grandmother Frances Elizabeth Crowder born Nov. 28, 1909 died in Feb. 12, 1982 in Lubbock Texas she married John Thomas Hull and they lived in Durant Oklahoma before they moved to Lubbock Texas.
Her Parents are John A. Crowder born March 18, 1873 in Alabama and died March 19, 1947 in Durant, Bryan Co., Oklahoma he married Katie Myrtle Unknown born in 1883 and died in Nov 3, 1949 in Durant, Byran Co., Oklahoma.

Also some of the Crowders lived in Fort Worth, Texas....If your a Crowder I would love to hear from you!
