TWO KILLED IN FEUD

Guthrie: As a result of a neighborhood feud William Cooper and his son, James Cooper, are dead, and Sam Barrett severely wounded. The parties were farmers living near Oleta, Woodward County, and bad blood has existed for over a year. The parties met at a public well, and in an altercation young Cooper shot Barrett in the face with a load of fine shot. Barrett then seized a shotgun and killed the Coopers. The murderer is in jail at Woodward
