Marilyn C. Hiner, 72, of Knightstown died Aug. 30,2005.
Born Jan. 3, 1933, in New
Castle, she was a daughter of
Otis E. and Nina (
Chambers)
Coffin.
She also owned White
Flash Auto Parts, White
Flash Mini Storage, and Lane's
Service in Knightstown. She had been the office manager at Kennedy Chrysler-Plymouth in Indianapolis for many years. She was a 1950 graduate of
Mays High School and a member of Knightstown Christian Church and the Knightstown American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Stephanie
Homer of Waterville,
Ohio, Steve Bearhope of Knightstown, and Roxanne
Lane of Knightstown; sister Shirley
Jackson of Knightstown; eight grand-children; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Hiner; brother Robert Coffin; and sister Kathryn
Fobes.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service-Knightstown
Chapel with the Rev. Richard
Thayer officiating. Burial will follow at Glen
Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
Friends may call from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hancock County Hospice, Better Breathers, or the American
Lung Association, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
