Looking for the parents and siblings of Peleg Coffin, born

ca. 1813 in New York(?) married Roxanna (Roxy) Ann Wright,

born 1824 also possibly New York. father of Roxanna Wright

Coffin was Truman Wright, mother, Electa ?? They migrated

first to Pickaway County Ohio and then to Piatt County

Illinois where they both died in the 1870, one month apart.

Children were;

*Electa Effie Coffin*, James Burton, Harriet E., Emma

"Emerelis", Eliza M., Colista, Francis Marion, George W.,

Nancy J. Spousal names to above children were, Ingrum,

Argo, Bennett, Valentine, Brown, Hughes, Hinshaw.

I have a feeling that my Peleg belongs to one of the Coffin

families originally of Nantucket, but cannot place him.

Would like to hear from anyone who might fill in ANYTHING!

Hi I am a descendant of the Wrights. I can not help you with Peleg's ancestors or sibings. Peleg and Roxy Ann were consistent in the censuses of 1850, 1860, and 1870 listing New York as their place of birth. Roxy's older brother was also born in New York.

I may be able to fill in some gaps for Peleg's descendants for I live in Piatt County, IL.
