I would like to know what became of Jerry Cobb, son of
William Benjamin Cobb and Barsheba Whitehead, after he
left Rocky Mount TN, to participate in the Battle of King's Mtn.
I believe that Jerry could have been the father of Alexander
Cobb, who died in 1856-7 in Bibb County, AL. Jerry was born
in Isle of Wight County, VA, about 1760

If you're still around, it looks like we're searching for the same thing - whatever happened to Jerry Cobb! Do you have any proof that he was the son of William & Barsheba? I have not been able to dig up anything substantial on Jerry - other than he is listed on the roster for King's Mountain. I'm a descendant of Alexander Cobb and am trying to track down his parents, etc.
Any help is appreciated and I'm glad to share what I have.
