I am searching for my ancestors. My Grandfathers name is Andrew Oliver Cloutier I am not sure of when he was born. His mother's name was Olivine she was born in 1893. She had toher children other than my Grandfather they would be Oscar who was born in 1920, Norman unsure of birth year, Lilian unsure of birth year, Doris unsure of birth year and George unsure of birth year. I was told by my father also Andrew Cloutier that my grandfather and his siblings from what he was told were all born in the USA... If anyone has any help I would greatly appreciate it. My father has never known much about his heritage as it was not spoken about when he was a child as he gets older I want very badly to have this done for him while he can still see it and enjoy it. Thank you in advance.

Bonjour Marlene,

I have a large Cloutier database but I need more details.
- Do you know Andrew Oliver's wife maiden name?
- Do you know when and where he got married ?
- Do you know his mother's (Olivine) maiden name?
- Where did they live?
- Do you know any of his siblings' spouse?

Any other detail?

Salut !

Roger

I know that Andrew Oliver Cloutier was born on November 25th I am not sure of the year but I believe it was sometime after 1918. He himself is still living he married Estelle Monastesse, They were married in either Attleboro, Massachusetts or Central Falls, Rhode Island. I am unsure of his parents names. His siblings are Oscar J. who was born June 25, 1918 and dies march 20, 1997 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Norman, Doris, Lilian and George. My grandfather (Andrew) doesn't speak about his childhood or his family. We were all sure that they were raised in Attleboro, Massachusetts but I have been unable to find anything on them there. Again I want to thank you for anything you can help me with.

Feel free to contact me about this line, as Andrew is my grandmother's first cousin.

I am doing research for a neighbor Mrs Sarah (Hodges) Cloutier who married Robert George Cloutier after WWII in which he had served as a medic in the South Pacific. Sarah and Bob met in Oklahoma, where Sarah lived, at a USO dance during the war. Sarah was born in 1923 and is still going strong, Bob died a few years ago. I believe Mr Cloutier just had sisters as siblings, he was the only son. Bob grew up in Attleboro very poor and told me he had gotten a brand new pair of pants which he ripped going over a fench - which did not go well with his parents.

For all I know, you and Sarah may be best of friends.

Bonjour,

I have little information on this couple. Nothing on their parents. This couple lived in Pawtucket, RI around 1953. They has a son Robert Armand who married Linda Lane Ireland in Attleboro in 1973 and son Daniel Hodges married to Dana Chiarini.

Mrs Hodges Cloutier might be able to provide the names of parents and of her in-laws.

Salut !

Roger

Your information is 100% correct, I have sent an email to Sarah and her offspring to get back to you. I met Sarah's son Bob in 1954 when I was 4 years old and went through school with him. Dan was a year or two behind.
