My mother's family migrated down from Canada to N. Maine and then to MA. Family name: Cloukey, Clukey and rumored to be Cloutier. Grandfather was Angus Cloukey with William and a host of others. Any info on Cloutier name subsequently changed to Cloukey/Clukey?

My grandfather; Clarence Clookey was full blooded indian; originated from Canada...his brothers were: Angus; Allie; Jimmy, Fred, Joseph, sister Ruby....He had and Uncle William born 10/31/1842 who resided in St Regis Falls, NY...I do have more information on this if you would like to email me. Thanks. The names Angus, William etc. come to mind and I would be interested in your information. I believe Angus moved down from Canada, I believe the Maritime Provinces, and settled in Northern Maine. Do you have any further on Angus and those who came after him? Angus' father and mother's name? Angus' wife name? Does anything go back to the name Cloutier, especially going back to Versailles, France?
My mother was the 2nd eldest daughter of Angus Cloukey and the names of her brothers and sisters are as follows: Ralph Cloukey, Lottie Cloukey, Lucy (or Pearl (my mother) Cloukey, Leonard, Freeman, Guy, Margorie, Frances, Robert, Jacqueline, Geraldine. All deceased except for Leonard, Margorie, Frances, Robert and Jacqueline.
