I don't know much I have a few names and a year is ifie.I am looking for info on a man that married my Grandmother . They lived in Bridgeport ,Ct. I know his name was Alfred Cloutier and that they called him Freddie. I think he may have been in the service , but not real sure. He had two sons , the oldest is David he would be about 58 or 59 now and the youngest is Alfred who was also called Freddie he would be about 54 now. They was living with their dad when he married my Grandmother she had 4 children herself. He was was born in Lowell, Mass. and I know that he was Killed while at work. He worked for the Bridgeport Maintance Company. My Grandmother was Marie Jeannette Evelyn Girard Brochu . The only thing as for a date is he was killed between 1956-1958, I know that is a Big IF, but that is all I know. If anyone knows any of these men could you please help me?

Well - I am not sure if he is still living, I just know that he was a half brother of my father and was hoping if he were still alive he could give me some information,,I think it may be the same person and somehow we might be related. As far as I know my father never had a half brother. He was born in Canada and grew up and lived in Biddeford, Maine the rest of his life. He had two brothers, Armand and Roland, and two sisters, Rose and Blanche.He had a trucking company in Maine and was very devoted to music and played several instruments. He married my mother in 1933 and he died in 1997. Good luck in your search for Freddy.

Alfred Coutier is the brother of my maternal grandmother Florida (Cloutier) Morin ,who moved to Baltimore with my Grandfather Armond in the thirties.I'm sorry to say she died in April 28 of 2004 You can find her obituary at sunspot.net My uncle's middle name is Alfred.You might try to find Alfred in Lole (I'm not sure of the spelling),Massachutses.Good luck and tell me what you find. My husband's biological father was a David Cloutier from Lowell. David died in 1975, he was 32. He would have been 57 in 2000. We'd love to hear about any information you might have on the Cloutier family.
