Hi, I have a great-grandmother, Minnie Chase who left our family back many many year ago (probably between 1913 and 1920.) She was married to William (Hank/Bill) Dean in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada and had 2 daughters. When she left them, we understand that she moved eventually to New York state and had another family there. I believe she would've been born around the turn of the century (1880's or 1890's) and we were told she died in the 1970's although we don't know.

Could anyone please help? Her daughter is now 86 years old and will probably soon pass over. It would be wonderful for me to be able to find out about her before her daughter passes away (the other one already has.)

I have a Minnie Etta Chase in my family tree. Born 6-3-1882 died 1963 in Pittsburg PA. I don't know where she was born yet.

In trying to find my great grandfather G. G. Chase, I found him in Hudson, Ohio in 1870 and 1880. In one of those census, there was a daughter, Minnie, listed. You might start there if this is a possibility. For your info, I'm still trying to find when and where G. G. Chase died. I think it may be in Canton, Ohio after 1910. If you have stumbled on anything in your research, let me know.

Just came across this 2000 message you posted re: Minnie Chase. Did you ever discover her trail?

I ask because I have Chase lineage - moving from Belmont (Peterborough East) to Niagara Falls about the same time your Minnie may have been in Niagara. The Chase family in my lineage would have been about the same age and your Minnie - though I do not have her name in my list of Chase children. Do you know her full name? Perhaps she was even a cousin of my Chases?!?!
